Talon got his drivers license. He’s now mobile and officially the “go the store and get some bread guy”.

How lucky is this kid. Dad and Mom got him a car. I had to buy my first car from my Grandpa.

Our annual Christmas picture. Talon is still growing. He is such a great kid. He’s always helping out with something. Taking Mason somewhere, going to the store or just doing the dishes. He is such a pleasure to talk to.

We had the opportunity to watch Talon play Jr. Jazz. He was in his element, the star player and having a wonderful time. It was so fun, he played so well. I’m not sure how many points he scored but I know it was over twenty. They beat the team 67 to 13. Talon was scoring from everywhere, three pointer’s to layup’s. It was exciting to see how many kids from his High School showed up to watch him play. The boy has a lot of friends.

Talon’s Easter egg he colored this year. Now that Talon is sixteen we consider every time he makes the trip down as a bonus, because we know these trips are numbered before he’s to busy to come down.

We took a family trip to Grand Junction Colorado. This is Talon dunking the basketball. he might have had a little help from the trampoline.

While we were in Grand Junction we went to an Escape Room. Where we had to solve about twenty clues and open eighteen locks to win the game. To be honest if Talon and Mason were not there I don’t think we would have solved it. They were both so good at the game.

We got the opportunity to spend a long weekend with the boys. Talon still towers over all of us but Mason is growing fast. Before to long Tonianne will be the shortest person in the family.

Talon was the champion at Corn Hole. One day he went ten games straight without losing a game. But he might agree his biggest win was playing was playing against the pretty girls.

Talon’s first day of School picture. I can’t believe he’s a Junior this year. Seems so weird he’s looking for jobs, driving and an all around good kid. So proud of this boy. I can’t wait to see all that he will accomplish this year.

A little better picture of Talon and Libbie. We have not met her, but Tonianne said she’s very nice. Those are big words coming from Tonianne because she is so protective of her boys. I wasn’t sure she would ever find a girl good enough for her boys.

Well Libbie O- Fish-ally said yes!!! Good news is Talon’s going to Homecoming. Bad news is Talon now has a Goldfish to keep a live.

Talon is almost an adult so here’s my thoughts.

Dear Talon,

I want to remind you to never close any doors in life. Keep your options open and be willing to explore new opportunities, because you never know where they might lead you. Always stay true to yourself and make choices that build a strong foundation for your future.

Please remember to avoid drugs—they only take you away from your dreams and potential. Focus on your studies and aim for good grades. Staying in college as long as you can will give you the knowledge and skills to create a better life for yourself.

Also, always stay positive and focus on the good things in the world around you. Life can have its challenges, but never lose your self-assurance. Believe in yourself and your ability to overcome whatever comes your way.

And one more important thing: don’t rush into having children until you are truly ready. Being responsible about when and how you start a family will help you provide a stable and loving environment for your children when the time comes.

I’m proud of you and believe in your ability to make wise decisions. Keep moving forward with confidence.
